Home Fragrance Guide: Choosing Candles and Diffusers

A home-fragrance gift is best chosen around the scent, the room and the way the recipient likes to use it. This guide compares the candles and diffusers and atomisers currently offered by Ashton and Finch. It focuses on product choice and everyday use.

Choose the format first

A scented candle combines a fragrance with a flame, while a diffuser or atomiser uses the method described on its individual listing. The formats are not interchangeable: check the operating instructions, what is included and which refill or liquid the selected product requires.

For a candle gift, compare the stated scent, size and product photographs. For a powered diffuser, read the listed power and capacity details before choosing. Do not assume that every product uses the same accessories or liquids.

Match the scent to the recipient

Start with a fragrance the recipient already enjoys. Floral, fresh and other scent descriptions can help narrow the choice, but preferences are personal. Compare the full scent description rather than choosing solely from the name or packaging.

The range includes options such as the Violet Soy Scented Candle and Linen Fresh Soy Candle. Check the current product page for availability and the details of that particular candle.

Check practical details before ordering

Choose a suitable place to use the product and follow its instructions.
Keep candles and fragrance products away from children and pets; never leave a burning candle unattended.
