Seven colours come together in this boxed set of chakra ritual candles: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. There is one candle in each colour, giving you seven candles in total. The illustrated box shows a seated figure with the seven chakra symbols, making the theme clear before you open it.
The mixed set is useful if you want to choose a different colour for different moments of reflection, rather than keep a full box of just one shade. You can also select a colour simply because it suits a small decorative arrangement. These are unscented paraffin candles, so they add candlelight without introducing a fragrance to the room.
Each candle measures approximately 12cm high and 1.2cm in diameter, with a stated burn time of around 90 minutes. That narrow base needs a securely fitting small candle holder; check the socket rather than assuming a standard dinner-candle holder will fit. Keep the candles upright on heat-resistant supports, follow the supplied instructions and extinguish every flame before leaving them unattended.
