Molten Glass on Wood Medium Bowl

This molten glass medium bowl is handcrafted in Bali using recycled glass and natural gamal wood, creating a decorative piece shaped by traditional artisan techniques. Designed to reflect current trends for natural and house-plant-led interiors, it brings together flowing glass and organic wood in a balanced, sculptural form.

The glass is hand-blown and shaped while still molten, then carefully relaxed directly over the gamal wood base. As it cools, the glass hardens to the contours of the wood, ensuring a secure and natural fit. Each piece is formed using hand tools, resulting in subtle variations that make every bowl individual.

Versatile in use, this medium bowl works well for stones, air plants, cut flowers, or as a standalone decorative feature. The raised wooden stand adds height and visual interest, making it suitable for tables, shelves, or sideboards.

Because natural materials and handmade methods are used, no two pieces are exactly alike. Small air bubbles, light surface markings, and variations in wood grain are part of the character of this design.
