I’d Rather Be Skiing Pen

I’d Rather Be Skiing Pen

‘I’d Rather Be Skiing’ is engraved along this light wooden pen, bringing a thought of the slopes to the desk. Dark lettering follows the barrel beneath a silver-coloured pocket clip, with matching fittings at each end. The joke is in the words, without a separate skier illustration.

It is a fitting choice for a skier who counts down to their next trip while working through notes and paperwork. You could pair it with a notebook for route ideas, packing lists or memories from a favourite resort. The message gives a familiar desk object a clear link to their interest, even when the nearest snow is some distance away.

The photographs show a black drawstring pouch and a guide to the pen’s working parts. It has a replaceable refill with a 1 mm tip and measures 14.5 cm long by 1.1 cm wide. The push button retracts the tip after writing, and the clip helps keep it with a suitable notebook or pocket.
