Best Daddy Pen

Best Daddy Pen

‘Best Daddy’ is engraved along this pale wooden pen, using the name a younger child may already call their father. The dark lettering sits beneath a silver-coloured clip, with matching fittings at the tip and push button. The two-word message keeps the design uncomplicated.

This pen can be given with a drawing, a handprint card or a few words written with help. It is a way for a child to choose something Daddy will actually use, perhaps beside the notebook he takes to work or the diary he keeps at home. The personal detail can be in the card: a favourite game, a shared story or something the child would like to thank him for.

A black drawstring pouch is pictured in the gallery. The pen has a replaceable refill and 1 mm writing tip, with dimensions shown as 14.5 cm long and 1.1 cm wide. The push button retracts the tip after writing, and the pocket clip helps keep the pen close to hand.
