Purple Mum's Day Off Do Not Disturb Socks
The soles of these purple socks announce It's Mum's Day Off and Do Not Disturb, with small floral details beside the words. The message is split across the pair, so it comes together when Mum puts her feet up. Plain purple above the feet keeps the joke tucked out of sight until then.
The design is about recognising a little time for herself. It makes an affectionate choice when you want to thank Mum and give the idea of a break a visible reminder. The flowers soften the do-not-disturb wording, keeping the message warm rather than stern.
Made with cotton-blend fabric, these socks are suited to a gift centred on relaxing at home. Their sole placement is the important detail: the words are intended to be read with feet raised, rather than displayed on the leg. Pair the sentiment with a personal note or a genuine offer to take something off her list, so the day-off message has meaning beyond the printed joke.
